Megan Fox

Megan Fox was brought up in the town Rockwood, Tennessee. As a child of five Megan joined the local drama school, and straight away showed a promising talent for perfoming arts. The family moved to Florida when Megan was aged 10.

Mom and young Megan approached a modeling agency with the hope of getting Megan picked for small modeling assignments. The agency were only to happy to take on the teenager with her pretty looks and bubbly personality, and soon Megan had built up a portfolio of semi-professional work.

Megan's agent also suggested she enter the American Modeling and Talent Convention, held each year in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Here Megan won several prizes, and bolstered by her success, contacted an acting agency in LA.

Within a few months Megan picked up her first big role in the made-for-TV movie Holiday in The Sun, a feel-good series starring the Olsen twins. Next came a part in the low profile TV series Ocean Avenue, followed by a bigger part in the hit series Hope & Faith.

It couldn't be said that Megan's publicity shy - in 2005 she made several appearances in mens' magazines such as Maxim and FHM, posing provocatively in scanty lingerie.

Next came Megan's break-out role, as the lead in the brilliant Transformers movie. Many adults feared the film about the kids' toy would appeal only to kids, but the film managed a much wide appeal, thanks to a clever and mature script, great acting from the cast, and amazing special effects.

Megan is also famous for her choice of body art:
Right ankle – moon and starfish design.
Right arm – Marilyn Monroe face.
Left wrist – two intertwined waves.
Bikini line – the word ‘Brian’.
Left rib cage – the words ‘there once was a little girl who never knew love until a boy broke her HEART’.

Petra Nemcova - Czech Supermodel

Petra Nemcova was raised by hard-working parents in Czechoslovakia. It was a hard and humorless existence under Communist rule. But in 1989 the regime crumbles, and one of the many changes to occur in the country is that fashion goes mainstream. With the encouragement of a friend, Petra visits a local modelling agency, and is delighted to be offered her first assignment. Soon she's so popular with the agency that her modelling work starts to clash with her education. Petra quits her modelling work till she's finished at school. When she returns to full-time modelling, she makes at instant splash, soon appearing in the 2002 Sports Illustrated swimsuit calender. She's quickly signed up by the Next modelling agency. However tragedy struck in December 2004. Petra and her boyfriend Simon Atlee were holidaying in a Thai resort when the Tsunami struck. Petra survived by clinging onto a tree for over eight hours, despite suffering a broken pelvis and significant blood loss. Sadly Simon Atlee drowned. A particularly poignant event is described by Petra in her book 'Love Always', the moment when she finds Simon's cloth bracelet. Since the tragedy, Petra has devoted a lot time and energy to the Happy Hearts Fund, a charity which helps orphans of the Tsunami. She's also made a super success of rebuilding her career in modelling.
