
Megan Fox was brought up in the town Rockwood, Tennessee. As a child of five Megan joined the local drama school, and straight away showed a promising talent for perfoming arts. The family moved to Florida when Megan was aged 10.
Mom and young Megan approached a modeling agency with the hope of getting Megan picked for small modeling assignments. The agency were only to happy to take on the teenager with her pretty looks and bubbly personality, and soon Megan had built up a portfolio of semi-professional work.
Megan's agent also suggested she enter the American Modeling and Talent Convention, held each year in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Here Megan won several prizes, and bolstered by her success, contacted an acting agency in LA.
Within a few months Megan picked up her first big role in the made-for-TV movie Holiday in The Sun, a feel-good series starring the Olsen twins. Next came a part in the low profile TV series Ocean Avenue, followed by a bigger part in the hit series Hope & Faith.
It couldn't be said that Megan's publicity shy - in 2005 she made several appearances in mens' magazines such as Maxim and FHM, posing provocatively in scanty lingerie.
Next came Megan's break-out role, as the lead in the brilliant Transformers movie. Many adults feared the film about the kids' toy would appeal only to kids, but the film managed a much wide appeal, thanks to a clever and mature script, great acting from the cast, and amazing special effects.
Megan is also famous for her choice of body art:

Left wrist – two intertwined waves.
Bikini line – the word ‘Brian’.
Left rib cage – the words ‘there once was a little girl who never knew love until a boy broke her HEART’.
